Our Assertive Communication training course in Bridgend (and Online) aims to equip individuals with the skills to effectively influence, listen, and negotiate with others. Assertiveness, at its core, involves respecting oneself and others while honestly expressing thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. The course provides insights into passive, aggressive, and assertive personalities, allowing participants to assess their position on the passive-aggressive scale. Moreover, attendees will learn to identify unassertive thoughts and develop the ability to challenge them using factual information, data, and personal experience.
Throughout the course, participants will be taught six proven assertiveness techniques that can be applied in various situations, depending on individual personality traits. Additionally, they will learn four methods to confidently and calmly say "no" when necessary. The final segment of the training focuses on handling constructive and destructive criticism in an assertive manner.
